Experience the land without turning it into a stage

Activities follow water, lotus, rice, weather, hosts and group size. We confirm what is genuinely available rather than promising a fixed performance.

What you may experience

The strongest itinerary is built from the conditions present during your visit. We prioritise meaningful participation, local explanation and enough quiet time.

Real experience photos

Farm life, food and time in the wetland

These photographs show genuine activities at VMF. The final programme for each stay is confirmed from the season, water level, weather, group and local host availability.

Solo clarity

One traveller should not receive an empty promise

Some full experiences require a minimum group, a guide, advance preparation or a supplement. Solo guests receive a clear list of what can be done independently, what can be adapted and what is unavailable.

The practical goal is a meaningful solo farm experience, not a smaller version of a group photo opportunity.

Signature stay

Three nights in the wetlands

Our core package connects farmstay life, the cultural memory of Southern settlement and a properly paced Tram Chim National Park day.

  • Night 1: arrive, settle and share a local seasonal dinner.
  • Day 2: farm, lotus, food and cultural memory at an unhurried pace.
  • Day 3: guided wetland day with cycling, rowing and forest rest where conditions allow.
  • Final morning: slow breakfast, reflection and onward travel.

FAQ

Practical questions

Are all activities available year-round?

No. Water, lotus and rice seasons, weather, host availability and group size affect the programme. We confirm a realistic plan before you arrive.

Can children take part?

Many activities can be adapted for families. Please share each child’s age so distance, heat, water safety and meal needs can be planned properly.

Do I need special equipment?

Usually not. Bring breathable clothing, sun and rain protection, secure footwear and a refillable bottle. We confirm any activity-specific needs in advance.
